Ritual

Mind. Body. Field.
Observed quietly.

A ritual engine that helps you enter state and remember how you return. A quiet room for body rhythm and local field — without scores, charts, or medical claims.
Experimental signals · Local-first · Not medical
Three layers

Mind, body, and field.
Observed in parallel.

Three signals, observed at once — each small, each honest about what it is and isn't. Where a meditation app would hand you a single score, Ritual hands you nothing to beat.
01
Mind
Intention. Session depth. Ritual rhythm. A quiet memory of how you return.
02
Body
Optional. A Bluetooth heart sensor is recommended; camera pulse is an experimental fallback. HRV with compatible sensors such as the Polar H10. Not medical — no diagnosis, no stress score.
03
Field
Experimental entropy observation. A quiet signal beside the ritual. Not proof. Not measurement. No claim of causation.
No video leaves the device.
The witness

It observes.
It does not evaluate.

When Body is on, Ritual listens for your rhythm — from a Bluetooth heart sensor, or from the camera as an experimental fallback. With the camera, a small circular witness sits at the corner of the ritual. A face it watches — but never scores. The video never leaves your device.
  • The witness observes.
  • It does not evaluate.
  • It does not score.
  • It simply watches.
LOCAL FIELDcoherent
Experimental — not a measurement

The Local Field.

This is an experimental feature. It makes no scientific claim and is not a measurement of you, your state, or your practice.

During a session, Ritual samples device randomness — drawing from crypto.getRandomValues() — and observes statistical deviation from a baseline taken at the threshold.

The result is exposed as a single quiet indicator: Stable, Shifting, or Coherent, with a deviation score and a coherence percentage. A signal to sit beside, nothing more.

Experimental signal. Not a diagnostic, not a metric, not a proof.
It does not measure consciousness. It invites observation.
Experimental feature · No scientific claim · No clinical interpretation · No diagnostic value
Sound is structure

Bells, gongs, and bowls
mark the transitions.

Every tone is synthesized in real time — bell, bowl, gong. Not ambience, not decoration: each one marks a boundary the room is crossing, and nothing more.
Entry
Threshold Bell
A clean strike at the threshold. The world dims, the bell holds you, and the session begins on its overtones.
Alignment
Phase Tone
Soft chimes mark progression at 30% and 70% — quiet acknowledgements that the field has shifted, no interruption.
Exit
Closing Gong
A long, descending gong releases the session. The orb fades. You return carrying the stillness with you.
Memory

The room remembers.
Not to judge.

Every session leaves a trace. The room keeps a quiet record — not a streak, not a score — so a pattern can surface in its own time.
Now
Your deepest session across recent practice.
Now
Total minutes carried.
Now
Your return rhythm — how often you come back.
In time
How the body settles across rituals.
In time
Which days the practice runs strongest.
In time
Your fifth evening ritual this month.
Over time, your sessions form a quiet history. A future memory layer will let the room become your own.
Privacy

Observed quietly.
Kept quietly.

  • Sensors are optional and off until you turn them on.
  • Camera video and raw heartbeat intervals never leave your device.
  • If Engine Contribution is on, only structured session observations are shared with the 6away Engine — never journal text, free-form writing, or raw sensor data. You can turn it off anytime; Ritual works fully without it.
  • No ads. No trackers. No data sales.
