Meditation apps compete on libraries — thousands of guided sessions, scrollable feeds, infinite choice. The user becomes a curator of content rather than a practitioner of stillness.
Ritual is built around a single act: entering, stabilizing, and completing a session. Less choosing. Less optimizing. More experience.
The interface recedes so the practice can come forward.
This is an experimental feature. It makes no scientific claim and is not a measurement of you, your state, or your practice.
During a session, Ritual samples device randomness — drawing from crypto.getRandomValues() — and observes statistical deviation from a baseline taken at the threshold.
The result is exposed as a single quiet indicator: Stable, Shifting, or Coherent, with a deviation score and a coherence percentage. A signal to sit beside, nothing more.
